PHYSICAL PLANT EMPLOYEES SPORT NEW UNIFORM SHIRTS

uniform

Physical Plant employees are proudly sporting new uniform shirts that clearly brand USF. The shirt worn by Steve Bury and Mike Fetzer (first two on the left) is the shirt used Monday through Thursday. The shirts worn by Roosevelt Wilson, Marcelino Rivera and Jose Rivera-Rodriguez (pictured together on the right) are the Friday "USF Spirit" shirts.

We know you will agree that these new shirts are definitely awesome!

STRIKING GOLD

ISAIt's official! The new Interdisciplinary Science Teaching & Research (ISA) building has
attained LEED Gold Certification. All 40 of the attempted credits were attained. ISA is the second new building on the USF Tampa Campus to be awarded the LEED Gold rating – the first being the Patel Center for Global Solutions.

This achievement is another example of USF's
continued commitment to creating an environmentally-conscious campus. USF is one of a small number of universities to receive a Gold Rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (2011). The University was also ranked 47th by the Sierra Club in its annual "America's Coolest Schools" list for advances in sustainability (2011).

Congratulations to the Facilities Planning & Construction project team involved with the construction and LEED certification of this beautiful addition to the USF Tampa campus!
