They walk, drive cars, ride bicycles, use skateboards and golf carts to travel around the campus.

CHILDREN BRIGHTEN THE DAY AT ANNUAL EVENT

EHS

USF hosted its 4th annual "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" event on Thursday, April 26, 2012. The event was a huge success, with 190 children (ages 8-18) having the opportunity to choose from 17 activities.

Children were also assigned, based on grade level, to one of two new activities: The Green & Gold Tour and the LEGOLAND Demonstration and Activity.

We appreciate the efforts it takes to host this annual event and thank the Division of Human Resources staff and many volunteers from across the university community for providing an exciting way for children to learn about USF and experience a day at work with their parents and other relatives.

The photo above shows the Environmental Health & Safety team having a great time sharing their expertise in extinguishing fires. The children did a great job extinguishing the fire pit.

Wayne Espinola, Administrative Services Webmaster, shared his trade secrets with his adorable nephew, Antonio. Check out the very cool video they created!
