The website provides valuable tips and resources regarding pedestrian, bicycle, skateboard, and golf cart safety. The website supports the USF Street Smart Program developed by Environmental Health & Safety and University Police. The program's objective is to help inform and bring awareness to the importance of safety on and around the USF Tampa Campus roadways.
The website will be updated with new content as it becomes available. We hope you will check out the website and share the link with others in the university community. And be sure to check back from time to time for new content!
PROUDLY REPRESENTING USF
Jaclyn Stanzione (left in photo) and Marisa Sanchez (right in photo), Lab Safety Specialists, Environmental Health and Safety, represented USF as judges at the 57th Annual State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida. The event took place April 3rd through 5th at The Lakeland Center in Lakeland, Florida. This is the largest academic competition in the state of Florida. Approximately 857 research projects were submitted by 901 students.
The State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida is promoted and administered by the Florida Foundation for Future Scientists (FFFS). FFFS is a statewide, non-profit organization authorized by the 1957 Legislature of the State of Florida to discover scientific and technical talent in the schools of Florida and to encourage the pursuit of careers in science, engineering, mathematics, and research.
Congratulations to Marisa and Jaclyn for being selected to represent the university at this annual competition that fosters and encourages Florida's young people to pursue scientific endeavors.
