HUMAN RESOURCES THANKS NANCY WISGERHOF
Please join Human Resources in congratulating Nancy
Wisgerhof on her acceptance of a new position as the Director of Administration in the Dean's Office in the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences (CBCS). Nancy has been employed at USF for 29 years and has been providing HR services to the university through Central HR and USF Health HR for the last 27 years.
During her time in HR, Nancy worked her way up from an entry-level position to Director of Compensation and Workforce Planning while also earning her master's degree in Public Administration from USF in 2003. Always striving to learn a new skill or take on a new challenge, the new position in CBCS will allow Nancy to expand her experience in another direction.
Nancy's guidance and compassion have been greatly valued by her colleagues in HR and throughout the university community. While we will surely miss her, we wish her the best of luck in the newest chapter of her USF career.
Two Physical Plant employees have retired effective October 1st. Thomas Janis, Maintenance Technician, retired after 36 years of service, having joined USF in March 1976. Gary Anglen, Maintenance Technician, retired after 12 years of service. He joined USF in July 2000.
We thank John and Gary for their dedication and service to the university. Please join us in wishing them all the best in their retirement.
STAVROS CENTER STAFF RECOGNIZE GEORGE CUA
Yiu Yung "George" Cua, Maintenance Technician, Physical Plant, has been recognized by the College of Education's Stavros Center with a Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding customer service over the years. Dr. Dick Puglisi, Director of the Stavros Center, and his team presented George with the award on Thursday, September 27th.
In presenting the award, Dr. Puglisi stated the recognition was for George's tireless and outstanding dedication to providing exemplary service in a consistent, courteous and friendly manner. Please join us in congratulating George on this well-deserved recognition. He has set an example for all of us to follow in serving our many customers throughout the university.

"ROCKY'S CRUISE" PHOTO STOP A BIG HIT AT ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN KICKOFF!
Thanks to all who attended the 2012 Faculty & Staff Annual Fund Campaign lunch on Tuesday, October 2nd, in the Marshall Student Center Ballroom. This year's beach theme proved to be a lot of fun, with a great picnic lunch, festive sun glasses, and more to celebrate last year's tremendous participation rate and to kick off this year's campaign.
Attendees really got into the spirit and had great fun getting their photos taken solo or with colleagues at a beach themed photo stop. Props included a surf board (courtesy of our own surfer girl, Brooke Deen), beach chairs, towels, hats, and, of course, beach balls. To view and download photos, visit our site on Flickr.
We look forward to a great 2012 Faculty & Staff Annual Fund Campaign and thank everyone in advance for their support!

PHYSICAL PLANT IN ACTION
Sometimes Physical Plant's work takes them to very high places. In this photo, Physical Plant employees are installing new letters identifying the Science Center.
The Physical Plant Maintenance Mechanics on the lift are Bradley Orr and Clint Franklin. Great job, guys!
