"PILLARS OF SUCCESS" CHAMPIONS SELECTED

At the Administrative Services Town Hall meetings back in December VP Williams introduced the "Pillars of Success": Communication, Technology & Equipment, Professional Development & Training, and Recognition & Awards. These pillars are forming the foundation of our goal to become one of the best places to work in Tampa Bay. To help build and advance the pillars a group of forward-thinking employees from within Administrative Services were selected as Pillar Champions.

Each Pillar has been assigned an Advisor and four Champions. Serving for one year, the Champions will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to support their Pillar. The Champions are also the main points of contact and sources of information about the Pillar they are representing.

If you have questions, comments, or suggestions about the Pillars please reach out to a Champion.

EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE

Luis Padilla

Facilities Management

"I wanted to send you a note of gratitude for your team member Luis Padilla. After submitting our emergency work order this morning referring to our broken movable/foldable wall, he was on site immediately. He had a great attitude which helped to calm the situation. He asked the right questions and got right to work. He had the wall, which I was not sure was fixable, fixed in no time", wrote Bob Herron, Gibbons Alumni Center Facilities Manager. "Afterwards, he followed up with me to give me the update and walk me through what had happened and what he did to fix the situation. I am greatly appreciative for you and of Luis for making the impossible happen this morning!"

William Ray

Parking and Transportation Services

Greg Morgan, Student Program Coordinator for Athletics called to express that "William did a terrific job!" after returning from a charter where William was the driver.
