USF welcomes applications from international students as freshmen (first time enrolling at a university) or as transfer students, with special consideration given to IB diploma students. More than 1,400 international students and 200 research scholars from over 150 countries consider USF their home away from home and are supported by an active International Service Office. We offer more than 200 undergraduate majors, including the top ten pursued by International Students. Scholarships are available to international freshmen and transfer students who demonstrate high academic potential.  Plus, our Southeast Florida office, located in Ft. Lauderdale, is uniquely positioned to offer information and assistance to prospective students from Caribbean and Latin American countries.
