For Admitted International Freshmen
Congratulations on your admission to the University of South Florida!
We want your transition to the University to be easy and enjoyable. Please review the checklist below to be sure that you have completed, or will complete, any additional steps to finalize your admission and enrollment.
- Pay your non-refundable US$200 admissions deposit online through OASIS by May 1
- Register for new student orientation
- Check your application status on OASIS for any documents that may still be needed to finalize your admission
- Request your school to send your final transcripts or certificates if you are still attending to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
- Submit all required documentation to International Services if you will be attending on a student visa (F-1 or J-1)
- Submit your Immunization Forms to the Student Health Services office
- Purchase or provide proof of Health Insurance
- Complete the Application for Housing
As a suggestion, we recommend that you consider attending Pre-Departure Orientation through Education USA before traveling to USF.

- Register for new student orientation
- Check your application status on OASIS for any documents that may still be needed to finalize your admission
- If you are still enrolled in your college or university, be sure to have your final foreign transcripts evaluated
- If you are currently attending a college or university in the U.S., make sure your final grades and/or degrees are submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
- Submit all required documentation to International Services if you will be attending on a student visa (F-1 or J-1)
- Submit your Immunization Forms to the Student Health Services office
- Purchase or provide proof of Health Insurance
- If you plan to live on campus, complete the Application for Housing
