Before You Apply
Freshman Applicants
If you have completed high school (secondary level education) in your country and taken less than 12 post-secondary credit hours, you should apply to USF as a freshman applicant. Freshmen are admitted in the fall and summer terms only.
Deadlines and application requirements vary depending on whether you are living outside the U.S. or are living in the U.S. on a visa. Pay close attention to all details.
Transfer Applicants
To apply as an international transfer student, you must have completed a minimum of 36 semester hours of postsecondary work after graduation from high school (secondary level education). Applicants who complete between 36-59 transferable semester credits are considered lower-level transfer students, and applicants who have completed more than 60 transferable semester credits are considered upper-level transfer students.
