An Unforgettable Journey en Español
The University of South Florida is proud to have earned the distinction by U.S. News and World Report as the top campus location in the country for students transferring from another college. Whether you come to USF from a community college, a private college, or another state university, we will work with you to make sure your transfer transition is as smooth as possible.
We encourage you to apply early and to pay attention to the transfer requirements that apply to you.
USF admits both lower-level (36 to 59 transferable credits)* and upper-level transfer applicants (60+ transferable credits) and former students returning. Please make sure to send official transcripts from all the colleges and universities you previously attended. If you are a student who has earned an Associate in Arts degree from a public community college in Florida, you will receive priority consideration for admission to USF.
*Beginning with summer semester, 2010, USF will consider lower level transfer who have completed at least 30 transferable semester credits.
