Transfer Requirements

USF admits both lower-level and upper-level transfer applicants.  We encourage you to apply early and to follow the application deadlines and checklist information.

If you earned an Associate in Arts degree from a college in the Florida College System, you will receive priority consideration for admission. Students who expect to earn an A.A. degree should apply at least one semester prior to completion of the degree.

Admission to USF with an A.A. degree does not guarantee admission to a selective admissions programs of study.

USF offer’s a bachelor’s degree program (BSAS) designed especially for Associate in Science degree graduates from a college in the Florida College System.

Former USF students who have not been enrolled at USF for three or more consecutive terms will be considered for readmission based on current academic policy.

Although USF provides a full range of excellent services to qualified students with disabilities, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions may accept documentation and consider any form of physical or learning disability only on appeal of an initial denial decision.
