For Admitted Students
Congratulations on becoming a Bull and a part of the USF family!
As a new student, you must attend one of our Orientation sessions designed to assist you with your transition to college life at USF. Be sure to reference our handy checklists for new freshmen (pdf), transfer (pdf) and international students. Get a head start on enrolling and securing your on-campus housing which is required for all new freshman. Take care of business before setting foot on campus. Make certain you submit any additional documents to the Office of Admissions, provide proof of immunizations and, if you are a freshman, secure your place in your class by submitting your enrollment deposit no later than the May 2nd deadline.
If you haven’t already submitted your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), do so as soon as possible—the priority FAFSA filing date for new students entering in Summer or Fall is March 1st. Be sure to research scholarship opportunities. You also need to obtain a student identification card and activate your University email. By keeping your personal information up-to-date on OASIS, you will receive any and all information from us. If you have self-identified as a student with a disability, apply for accomodations and services through the Office of Student Disability Services.
Explore the endless possibilities at USF and connect with other new students through New Student Connections, an office exclusively committed to supporting you through your first year with us. Immerse yourself in your new home, learn from your peers, join one of a myriad of student organizations, find a mentor among our world-class faculty and challenge yourself in the classroom.
