Greetings fellow NIRSA members!I wanted to take a moment to personally welcome you all to sunny Florida for our Region II Conference Oct. 22-25, 2008. Our site for this year’s conference should be an ideal setting for learning as well as enjoying all the wonders of the Gulf of Mexico and the surrounding beaches. The TradeWinds Resort has “Rolled out the red carpet” for NIRSA so I know our location will be outstanding! We are planning a terrific program of educational sessions which will have something of interest to everyone. The social, food and entertainment of our program promises to be equally exciting! There are sailing, kayaking, beaches, golf and even yoga opportunities all within easy reach of our conference headquarters. If you like seafood we think the menu is sprinkled with just the right flavor of Gulf of Mexico favorites. It is not too late to get involved. We still are taking applications for presentations. Either way, please join me and the rest of the University of South Florida Campus Recreation staff for an exciting four days!!
