Duties:  The incumbent will direct, coordinate, and supervise the administrative and fiscal functions of the Division of Research Integrity and Compliance (DRIC).  With a budget of $3.5 million and a staff of 31 highly qualified personnel, DRIC provides support for the following functions:  AAHRPP-accredited Human Subject Protection Program (includes IRB, HIPAA, etc.), AAALAC-accredited Institutional Animal Care and Use Program (IACUC), Conflict of Interest, Bio-safety, Radiation Safety, Diving Safety, Research Misconduct, Education and Training and Quality Assurance programs.  The staff at DRIC provides services to investigators at USF, USF Health, Tampa General Hospital, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, James A. Haley Veterans Administration Hospital, and other affiliate partners.

Qualifications:  Master’s or doctoral degree in biomedical, social science or related field; at least five years experience in managing research compliance in a complex academic environment; significant management experience in a leadership position; excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated knowledge of experience in interpreting and implementing Federal, State and Institutional policies and procedures; excellent time management and team leadership skills.
