Seeking
qualified applicants for two Biostatistician positions.
Successful candidate for the rank of Instructor would
hold a Master’s degree and three years of professional
experience. For consideration at the rank of Associate
Professor, individuals must have a demonstrated
potential for extramural funding and vigorous
publication activity and five years as an Assistant
Professor. Individuals for Full Professor must have a
proven track record of independent research, leadership
ability and training experience as evidenced by
publications and extramural funding and five years as an
Associate Professor.
Experience in observational studies, clinical trials,
longitudinal data analysis or statistical genetics is
desirable. This is a research position with extensive
collaboration with medical investigators. Teaching is
optional. The Center has extensive research funding and
is comprised of biostatisticians, epidemiologists,
applications and systems programmers, project managers,
nurses and administrative staff. Members are engaged in
research on diabetes prevention, autoimmune diseases,
cancer prevention and control, genetics disorders and an
expanding list of rare diseases. The Center is funded as
a data and coordinating center for several large
clinical networks and actively participates in the
design and conduct of epidemiological studies and
clinical trials.
