Duties:
Clinical responsibilities will include the full range of
Pediatric surgical procedures, as well as teaching
responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Seeking candidates for the position of Pediatric Surgeon
at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Looking at
opportunities to provide pediatric surgical services to
Tampa Bay Area hospitals.
Must have completed an accredited surgical
residency program and have a strong background in basic
science research. In addition, the applicant must
demonstrate a strong interest in the pursuit of
scholarly and academic activities. Board
eligibility/certification in Surgery is required, as
well as eligibility to obtain unrestricted Florida
Licensure. Rank at the Associate Professor ordinarily
requires five years of service as an Assistant
Professor. Expertise in minimally invasive procedures is
preferred.
