Qualifications:
Searching for a full-time faculty member with an
academic and clinical focus in Emergency Surgery,
Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care. The acceptable
candidate will have completed training in Surgery and be
certified or eligible for admission to the examinations
in Surgery offered by the American Board of Surgery.
Candidate must be eligible for medical licensure in the
State of Florida. Post residency training in Surgical
Critical Care and Trauma is highly desirable. Teaching
and clinical practice in Surgery is required and
academic productivity in the form of clinical or basic
research will be expected. Rank commensurate with
credentials and experience. The Associate Professor
rank requires at least five years of experience in
general surgery with continuing and productive service
as an Assistant Professor.
