Rate of Pay:
$2,500 – $2,875 per 5 hour course (depending on
experience)
Duties:
Teach one or more ESL courses that meet 3-5 hours per
week for 14 weeks; participate in
testing, curriculum meetings, and activities.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or M.A. in ESL, TESL, SLA; or in Applied
Linguistics.
A minimum of one year full-time experience teaching ESL/EFL
to adults in a community college, university, or private
Intensive English Program (IEP) is required.
Applicants with graduate
degrees in related fields (English, Education,
Curriculum and Instruction) may be considered if in
possession of a TEFL/CELT certificate and extensive ESL/EFL
teaching experience.
