Weekly Hours:  10–15 hours (flexible)

Pay Rate: $12-$16/hr.

Length of employment: One year (may be extended)

Duties: Excellent opportunity to gain valuable field research experience!!!  One research coordinator positions open for Prodigy – a youth arts project that serves neighborhood youth as well as youth in a juvenile justice diversion program.  The work will be located off campus at a site listed above, with occasional travel to Hillsborough County required.  The work is mostly afternoons to early evenings. Among the tasks, those hired will be responsible for orienting the new participants in the program - who range in age from 12 to 18; overseeing data collection from self-administered assessment scales; and encouraging the participants to cooperate in completing the assessment packages.  Position is located at an off-campus site in Lakeland. 

Qualifications:  Major area of study in the social sciences strongly preferred.  Experience with youth a plus.
