Temporary Positions (OPS)
Temporary (OPS) positions are
temporary at-will positions and have limited benefits.
The length of employment for Temporary positions is determined
by the advertising department, not to exceed 2080 hours
in a two year period.
To
apply for an
Temporary (OPS) appointment, you must submit a
USF
Application
for Employment form directly to the
contact person. Please call the number provided before
you go to the location.
Employment in a Temporary (OPS)
position may qualify you to participate in the
Temporary Employment Retirement Plan (TERP).
This plan is mandatory for eligible employees. For more

Employees hired in
Temporary (OPS)
positions are eligible to
participate in the
State Deferred Compensation (457)
plan
or
Tax Sheltered Annuities (TSA) (403(b)) plans. These plans allow employees the opportunity to save for
retirement each pay period on a pre-tax basis.
