Mission Statement
The
Division of Human Resources provides leadership,
guidance, and support to the University in the
administration and management of its human
resources. This is accomplished through promoting and
maintaining an environment of harmonious and cooperative
relationships and by delivering services such as
appointment processing, benefits, classification,
collective bargaining, compensation, employee relations,
payroll, recruiting,
organizational and people development and training.
The overall objective of the Division is to develop and
administer an effective and efficient personnel program
that focuses on extraordinary quality customer services
and the fair and equitable treatment of all employees.

Statement
The
Division of Human Resources provides dynamic and ethical
leadership to meet present and future human resource
challenges. We advocate the value of human resources,
maximize potential, and reward productive and creative
results. The Division selectively directs the HR
programs to meet the needs of the workforce and
organization and to identify and balance administrative
and customer needs by considering human resource trends.
We work to plan, develop, and implement HR
programs that foster an environment which encourages
mutual trust and respect in a culturally diverse
workforce and develop a workforce committed to ethics,
quality, service, pride, and excellence. |
