Search Committee Meetings Notices
Now Posted on the Web
Search committee meeting notices are now posted on the
Search Committee Meeting Notices Calendar. Previously,
notices were posted on the USFNEWS and USFTALK listservs,
where they could be viewed only by individuals with a
USF email address. By moving the notices to the website
calendar, they are now globally accessible.
During the recruiting process, search committees must be
formed when recruiting for Faculty or Director level
positions and above. When search committee meetings are
scheduled, Florida law requires reasonable notice
(typically 3 days) of the meeting’s time and place, and
information on requesting disability accommodation.
To
view the calendar, from the top of the
USF home page (and many other USF web pages), click
Calendars and select Search Committee Meeting
Notices. For questions about recruiting,
responsibilities of search committees, or other HR
issues, contact your
Service Center. For assistance with the calendar,
contact Chuck Welsh or Chris Sharp in HR at (813)
974-2970.
