The year was 1956...

... Elvis was the king of rock-n-roll, Ike Eisenhower and Richard Nixon easily won a second term in the White House, Ronald Reagan was just another actor and New York Yankee Don Larsen pitched the first and only perfect game in the World Series history over the Brooklyn Dodgers. And a historical event was recorded in Florida that year. What once was an orange grove, began to mushroom as a traditional cultural center of learning on Florida’s west coast. >>read more
