Beware of Parking Permit Scams!
Be aware of recent scams originating from Craigslist soliciting members of the USF community to purchase parking permits for an anonymous source for compensation. USF regulations stipulate that permits purchased from USF Parking and Transportation Services are not transferrable from the registrant to another vehicle operator. It is the purchaser who remains responsible for any citations incurred against that permit. In addition, only permits purchased from USF Parking and Transportation Services are valid in USF parking lots. USF Public Safety warns that not only are these scams potentially fraudulent, but, like all online solicitations, could pose a threat to personal safety, as well.
Please direct any questions to 974-3990 or for information on USF Parking Permits, visit www.usf.edu/parking_services
