USF’s News & Media office is the media's primary source for news and timely information about USF. The news director and staff of communications professionals promote press coverage of USF by providing the media with press releases, a calendar of events, media kits, faculty experts, video, audio and photography. The director is also responsible for managing the university's crisis communications program, responding to open records and freedom of information requests, and serving as the official spokesperson for the University of South Florida.
