USF Scholars Showcase
As an academically-talented student you have many options as you navigate through your college selection process. We understand the choices you have to make and want to provide you with the information you need and the experiences you want to make your final college choice. To accomplish this, you and your family are invited to join us for an invitation only event that showcases the opportunities for high achieving students at the University of South Florida. During this on-campus event, you will:
- Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and dinner while talking one-on-one with faculty and administrators.
- Participate in a mini lecture with Honors College faculty so you can experience an Honors College course first-hand.
- View and discuss student research projects.
- Interact with current USF students to hear what it is like to be a Bull—both academically and socially.
- Learn about The Honors College so you can understand how USF helps students prepare for life after college. Topics will include our accelerated programs (such as the 7-year Medical Program), research opportunities, and the Honors College advising process.
USF Scholars Showcase will be held on the University of South Florida campus on Friday, February 3rd and Friday, April 13th. Please select the date that is best for your schedule. We encourage you to stay in the area and attend Stampede to Success the next day Saturday, February 4th or Saturday, April 14th. Stampede to Success is an open house that will provide you with additional information about what your experience will be like as a student at USF. Featured sessions include:
- Information about The Honors College
- Academic program previews with faculty
- Financial aid and scholarship opportunities
- Current USF student panels
- Student life overview
- Walking campus and residence hall tours
- A showcase of student-centered departments
After registration, you will receive a Scholars Showcase or Stampede to Success confirmation via e-mail. The message will include event information and links to the USF campus map.
