The numbers don't lie. In 2011-2012:

  • 22,729 students received financial aid
  • $8,935 was the average financial aid package
  • $240,529,402 was the total amount of aid awarded

Need-Based Financial Assistance

USF offers a combination of need-based grants, loans and work-study opportunities to help defray the cost of your education. Learn how to apply for financial aid with our handy step-by-step guides.


Other Undergraduate Financial Assistance

You may be eligible for merit- and need-based scholarships offered through USF. Your parents or another relative also may have a Florida Pre-Paid Program plan or you may be eligible for Florida Bright Futures. Student employment is another great way to earn while you learn.


Other Graduate Financial Assistance

You may be eligible for fellowships and scholarships as well as Graduate Assistantships. Research funding for graduate-level research also is available.
