As a pending permanent resident alien, please submit a copy of your I-485 as proof that you have applied for lawful permanent residency status with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), formerly the INS. If you have been issued a work permit by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), formerly the INS,, please submit a copy of your work permit with your application. If you are married to a Florida Resident or have become a Florida resident yourself, please submit a completed Florida Residency Classification Form. As a pending permanent resident alien, you will NOT be issued an I-20 and will NOT need to apply for an F-1 visa. (Therefore, you will not need to provide a financial statement).
