Why USF?...
I decided to attend USF at first because my brother goes to school
here. I was aware of their medical and nursing program and how
prestigious their academics are becoming in the state of Florida. |
 |
First day...
At first I was overwhelmed with the size of campus. I came in during
the summer time so that made it easier to get an idea of where things
are. I loved the independence that USF allows its students to have. |
 |
Activities...
I enjoy going ice skating and bowling. The movie theaters here are
huge and have the most comfortable chairs. |
 |
Student Activities...
Currently I am involved with the following:
Undergraduate Research
Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society
Alternative Spring Break
Dance Marathon
Get Carded
Big Brothers Big Sisters
My involvement has helped me meet so many amazing people. |
 |
Professors...
I love all of the science professors. They show such a dedication to
the education of their students. My favorite teacher is Dr. Jones. He
puts a twist on a very difficult subject, such as organic chemistry, and
makes it relatively understandable to students.

 |
Transition...
Coming in during the summer time was probably the best that that I
did. It made the transition easier. |
 |
Research...
I am involved in undergraduate research. I love it and feel lucky that
I can be apart of changing the lives of people. |
 |
Multiculturalism...
The cultural diversity of USF has opened my eyes and helped me think
about issues in today’s world. |
 |
Metropolitan...
I plan on going to USF’s medical school after I graduate. I love the
Tampa area because there is so much opportunity. |
 |
Global perspectives...
After going on Alternative Spring Break, my thinking about the world
has dramatically changed. Instead of knowing about an issue, I ask why
this is happening and what can be done about it. |
