Why I Chose USF
I took a tour of the campus and fell in love. I was amazed by how big the campus was. Vero Beach is a very small town, and I knew I wanted something bigger. Also, I was amazed at the diversity on campus. There are so many different people here, and I love that.
Favorite Spot on Campus
The Marshall Center is like a beehive, always buzzing with life. It’s a great place to meet new people and to really feel like part of the campus.
Spanish! It is such a beautiful language, and with the right teacher, it can be really easy to learn. There are so many similarities between Spanish and English that make it very simple to comprehend.
There are so many options at USF. With more than 500 organizations on campus, you can never be bored. Right now, I am heading the National Council of Negro Women’s Young Ladies committee. We mentor underprivileged girls in the Hillsborough County area.
