Christopher serves as Associate Director in USF's Information Technologies department.
His areas of responsibility include customer service, helpdesk/desktop support, web development, eCommerce and
advanced technology units. Before joining IT, Christopher was the Manager of Technical Support for the College of
Business Administration and had worked as a PC/LAN consultant for Verizon. He has been employed at USF for 10 years.
Workgroup participation is an important part of his daily schedule. He serves on numerous community and technical
workgroups in order to foster good working relationships between various constituencies. Christopher and some of his
staff are on-call many nights of the week to assure USF's electronic commerce applications remains operational, safe
and secure.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Christopher has spent the last 20 years in Florida. He graduated from USF in 1996
with a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems with an emphasis in Database Administration and Data
Communications. He enjoys traveling and tries to take a cruise at least once a year.
Christopher's goal as a council representative is to keep fellow A&P employees informed of important news or
events and to foster positive growth for the University Community.

Current Position: Assistant Director for Graduate Medical Education
Goal as Council Representative: To enhance communication with A&P employees across campus, assist in the development
of the USF community, and to have a positive impact on the future of USF and A&P positions.
Personal Interests and Hobbies (optional): My interests include, first and foremost my children, Bella and Noah and
activities that my wife and I do with them. I enjoy playing and watching hockey. In my spare time I enjoy creating
websites, reading, writing, and volunteering with various organizations.
Bobbi serves as Business Manager for USF's Information Technologies department. Her areas of responsibility include fiscal management of different departmental funds, contract negotiation, audit, cost accounting, and administration of internal systems. Bobbi has been with the University and Information Technologies for 9 years.
Bobbi has been a part of several University-wide efforts. She attended the Solution Design Labs (SDL) prior to the FAST implementation. She was on the Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay subcommittees that developed the job aids. Bobbi was a Procure-to-Pay trainer for several months before and after FAST went live. She's served on the Planning Committee for the Annual Faculty/Staff Softball Picnic for the past 3 years.
Bobbi has spent most of her life in Florida. She graduated from USF with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the College of Business Administration. Bobbi is a continuous learner. You'll see her face around the ODT classes or her nose in a book around lunch time. She also received a Master's Certificate in Leadership from USF.
On the A&P Council, Bobbi represents constituencies within University Services for 2006-2008.
Marilyn has been in university administration with the Office of the Registrar for almost 10 years.
In her current position in the systems unit Marilyn is the data custodian for student records, responsible for submission
of Board of Governor Registrar reporting, and acts as a liaison with Information Technologies on special projects. She
began her career in Higher Education at UF where she served as a Programmer Analyst Supervisor and the Director of Student
Records.
Marilyn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and a Master's in Business
Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
She is a newly elected member to the council and is looking forward to working with the council to address A & P issues.
Marilyn's goal is to provide timely information to her constituents and to provide any concerns they may have to the
council in an effort to enhance the work environment for A & P staff.
Marilyn resides in Apollo Beach with her husband and two teenage sons, Brent and Bryan. They enjoy boating, soccer,
and football.
This year’s A&P Council secretary is secretly “Wonder Woman.” Not only does she have a full time job here
at USF, she has a full time job at home taking care of her FIVE children all under the age of 5 years! She also likes the
initials “HPB”. Harrison Pierce (4) is big brother to his quadruplet 2 year old siblings Hunter Pryce, Hamilton Parker,
Heather Paige, and Holly Peyton.
As Coordinator for Administrative Services (Human Resources, document and mail centers) at FMHI, Regina is responsible
for training initiatives at the Institute and is on a number of committees. She chairs the WAC Committee (Workgroup of
Administrative Coordinators) and Supervisory Support Groups and is a member of the Conflict Resolution Workgroup,
Recruitment and Retention Workgroup and Special Events Committee. She began working at USF in 1996 as a personnel
representative in the area of appointments and contracts. Prior to USF, she worked in medical management for United
Health Care for two years and for Citicorp Services, Inc. for seven years as department manager for the International
Service Management Group.
She has a B.A. in English from the University of Tampa and a M.A. in English Literature
from the University of South Florida. Her outside interests include antiques, music (plays the piano, violin, and
clarinet), and literature (favorite author is Charles Dickens.)
On the A&P Council, Regina represents the following A&P employee constituency area: FMHI Dean’s Office, Sponsored
Research, Mental Health, and Mental Health Law & Policy.
My name is Pete D'Addio. I am currently in my second term as an A&P Council member. I am currently a Senior Network Administrator in USFHealth IT. I have worked at USF in some capacity for about 10 years and also graduated from USF with a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree. One of my main goals is to represent the A&P Staff of my constituency and keep them informed of the issues and news that pertains to them. I strive to bring a point of view to the Council of someone who has been associated with USF for a number of years.
Denise has the pleasure of working with a diverse group of students at the Phyllis P. Marshall Center Information Desk, TicketMaster Outlet, and Bull Market. She serves on the Student Affairs Strategic Planning Committee and teaches University Experience classes. She began working at USF 13 years ago. Prior to USF, she worked in the not-for-profit arts. She strives to provide her constituents with timely information about USF news and events. Denise has a B.S. in Arts Management from the University of Tampa. She has a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Science in Management from the University of South Florida. Her newest academic endeavor is the Higher Education Administration Ph.D. program. Outside interests include music, reading, and crocheting.

Current Position: University wide administrator for the Central Space Office in the Office of Decision Support that
includes the Tampa, Lakeland and St. Petersburg campuses. I received my B.S. in Communications from Florida Southern
College and I'm currently enrolled in the Adult, Career & Higher Education Master's Program at USF.
I believe in service to the community as a whole and hope to be able to bring issues related to my constituency to the
council and be able to support our USF family.

Accounting Coordinator College of Engineering (Academic Affairs)
Been at USF in current position for nearly five years. Have also an additional degree from USF (2001) and worked
part time for Intercollegiate Athletics since 1994. My goals as an A&P Council Representative are to enhance better
internal communication through out the University Community and serve on various USF Committees. My personal hobbies and
interests include executive committee of the USF Club, participation on the Athletic Advisory Committee, active
participation with the Campus Recreation activities, and quality time with family and my golden retriever.
Tom serves as the Coordinator of Advising and Student Services in the Department of Psychology, College of Arts and Sciences.
His areas of responsibility include supervising advising activities, serving on the Undergraduate Program Committee, teaching at least one class each semester, and overseeing graduate program recruiting. Tom was born in St. Louis, Missouri and attended high school in St. Petersburg, Florida. A West Point graduate, he served for some thirty years in the Army before returning to school as a doctoral student at USF, where he was awarded his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 2000. He and his wife Francy live in Clearwater and have three adult sons, two daughters-in-law and two grandsons. They enjoy traveling.
Tom's goal as a council representative is to keep fellow A&P employees informed of important University news events and to assist the University community in any and all ways possible.

USF Health and University Advancement
Sonya is currently a Faculty Services Administrator in the Office of Faculty Affairs at USF Health. Sonya joined USF in
April 2002 as a Coordinator in the Department of Psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences. Sonya is the Student Advisor
for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Organization on Tampa campus. She serves on the A&P Communications Committee as Chair.
Sonya's goal serving on the council is to provide representation for the A&P staff community and to strive for a voice in
decision making on matters that concern them. Her personal interests are reading and listening to Jazz music.
Hello, my name is Elizabeth Owens Kaplon. I have been at the University of South Florida
full time for 14 years but spent 4 prior years as an adjunct faculty member. I am currently the Assistant Director for
Academic Initiatives within the Department of Housing & Residential Education. In that role I have the responsibility to
enhance the academic success of our residential students by offering workshops, study sessions and other resources to help
students succeed.
In the past I have served as a faculty member in Communication Sciences and Disorders, teaching and supervising in
specialty areas such as stuttering and aphasia as well as speech and language development. My terminal degree is in the
field of Speech and Hearing Science. I also served as the Executive Assistant (now titled Special Assistant) to the Vice
President for Student Affairs from 2001-2006.
I have been a member of the A&P Council for one year. I am currently the Chair of the Program and Events Committee.
I hope to help launch a successful A&P Community Breakfast in January and earn scholarship dollars in the Spring of 2008
by hosting the annual A&P Golf Tourney.
My interests include playing golf and tennis as well as attending many USF and local spectator sports. I enjoy reading
biographies and historical fiction and collecting antiques.

Current Position: Head Volleyball Coach
Goal as Council Representative: My goal has been to represent athletics on the council as well as develop
relationships across campus. I have enjoyed my involvement with the Community Support committee. The council works hard
to educate it's members with campus wide information. I think it is a strong organization with positive representation for
all A&P Employees. I have learned a lot during my service.
Personal Interests and Hobbies (optional): all sports, music, travel, and spending time with my family.

Current Position: Carolyn currently holds the position of Application Project Manager. She received her Project
Management Professional Certification in July of 2007 and uses these skills to coordinate multiple projects for the
web/ecommerce team within Information Technologies. Prior to USF, Carolyn spent 14 years at Indiana Purdue University
at Fort Wayne (IPFW) where she also held a position on their A&P council.
As a council representative, Carolyn hopes to use her skills in project management to help coordinate events for her
A&P constituents. She also hopes to use her web and eCommerce knowledge to help communicate council information via the
A&P website.
Personal Interests and Hobbies: Carolyn enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, volunteering with events for
the Humane Society and riding her Harley Davidson.

Current Position: Financial Manager in Continuing Education/Educational Outreach
Goal as Council Representative: To encourage participation in University Events by A&P employees; to inform my
constituents and others on issues which impact A&P employees; and to help identify, discuss and offer solutions on
critical issues that face the University in general and A&P employees specifically.
Personal Interests and Hobbies: Restoring 1961 Triumph TR3
As Veterans Services Coordinator in the Counseling Center, my staff and I assist more than 800 students in applying for their educational benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA.) I have worked at USF for 27 years and have been on the A & P Council for several terms, currently elected for 2007-2009. My main reason for serving on the Council is to try to affect positive changes in policies and procedures that affect Administrative staff, and to keep my constituency informed of Council business.
Justin is currently an academic advisor for the College of Education on the Sarasota campus. He joined
USF in December 2005. Justin became a member of the A&P Council in 2007 and works on the Enhancement Committee. He serves
on the Financial Aid Scholarship Committee for the Sarasota campus and helps with retention management for undergraduate
programs.
Origionally from Sarasota, Florida, Justin graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Batchelor's Degree in
Criminal Justice and will finish his Master's Degree in Education leadership in Spring 2007, also from Florida Gulf Coast
University. He enjoys being back in Sarasota and could not live anywhere he cannot go to the beach in December.
Justin's goal is to serve the needs of the A&P employees on the Sarasota campus and make sure their concerns are brought
to the council.
Ken has been in service at USF since September 2000. His current position is the Operations Director
for the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR). He came to USF as the Network Manager for CUTR and has
transitioned over time into his current position. In his current role he is responsible for managing grant administration,
travel, purchasing, desktop computer / network management, and building maintenance for CUTR.
My goal as a council representative is to relay information to and from my constituents and to bring issues before the
council that, if resolved, may enable USF to become an ever more successful institution in terms of research and education.
My hobbies and interests include spending time with my wife and my three girls, reading, golfing, woodworking, and swimming
to keep in shape. Ken received a B.S. from the University of Connecticut, and an M.B.A. from USF.
