Program Level Assessment Workshops Offered November 2007 marked the beginning of a series of undergraduate program level assessment workshops at USF. Survey of USF Seniors Set for Spring Semester During the spring semester, the Office of Academic Assessment will conduct its annual survey of USF seniors. Assessment Symposium Scheduled for Fall 2008 The University Assessment Steering Committee is planning an assessment symposium during the fall 2008 term. The symposium will highlight assessment activities taking place in departments and programs across the USF campuses. For more information, click here. Progress Report Submitted to Board of Governors The institutional Academic Learning Compacts (ALC) progress report was prepared by Offices of Academic Affairs and submitted to the Board of Governors in December 2007. General Education Council Sponsors Assessment Institute In the summer of 2007, the General Education Council sponsored an Assessment Institute for faculty who had submitted General Education proposals.  To learn more about the Institute, click here. Composition Program Implements Mentoring Program In the fall 2007 semester, a Mentoring Program for the integration of GTAs into the USF English Department First Year Composition Program (FYC) began. The program has been in place for eight months, during which time it has become extremely valuable for the GTAs in understanding the FYC Program.
