Online
Student Assessment of Instruction
The Office
of Assessment,
Decision
Support is responsible for reporting assessment of instruction results,
whether submitted as paper copies or online. The assessments themselves are
administered by the colleges and campuses. Representatives in each college
and on each campus (listed below) receive the results. If you have
questions about the process or for help, please contact your department
representative (listed below).
Currently, only reported web-based classes (75% or more
of instruction is online) participate in the on-line assessment process.

Alert your students to the online assessment opportunity

Let your students know that they will be able to evaluate
your course during the last three weeks of
the semester through OASIS.
Call
your department representative if the site is
not up or you have problems accessing the site. If your class does
not show a W in OASIS (indicating a web-based class), your students
will not have access to the site.

Each department should report distance learning courses for coding in Banner at the same time space requests are made before the beginning of each semester (refer to the Registrar’s scheduling timeline). This coding enables the courses to be included in the online evaluation of instruction process. Currently, only distance learning courses which are listed in the Florida Distance Learning Catalog participate in the online evaluation of instruction process
