Jan E. Smith is president of Jan Smith and Company. He is a member of the SunTrust Bank Gulf Coast Board, chair of the Florida Education Foundation and past Chair of the Manatee Community College Board of Trustees. He has served on the USF Foundation Board and was inducted into the Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame. Mr. Smith received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. His Board of Trustee assignment includes Chair, USF Sarasota/Manatee Campus Board and the Academic and Campus Environment workgroup. Mr. Smith is a resident of Bradenton.
