Workgroups

Academics and Campus Environment - focuses on issues involving the following administrative units: Academic Affairs, Health Sciences, Student Affairs, Intercollegiate Athletics, Facilities Planning and Construction, Regional Campuses.

Finance and Audit - review and recommend to the Board policies affecting financial affairs of the University and the University’s relations with government. The Workgroup may meet jointly with other Board Workgroups to make determinations about issues with a financial impact on the University, or recommendations from other Board Workgroups may be referred to the Finance & Audit Workgroup for assessment of fiscal implications.

Health Sciences and Research - reviews and recommends to the Board policies for enhancing the University’s sponsored research portfolio, research integrity and compliance, the research infrastructure; Health Sciences Center management, in particular, clinical practice and hospital affiliations; and university engagement, including community partnerships, outreach, workforce development, and economic development.
