Welcome to the USF Sport Clubs Program!

A Sport Club is defined as “a registered student organization formed by students with a common interest in a physical, sport activity that exists to promote and develop interest in that particular activity.  Clubs may be instructional, recreational, competitive or any combination thereof.”

Any student, regardless of ability, can become a club member and benefit from club activities ranging from instructional clinics to competition on the state, regional and national levels.

Mission Statement:  The University of South Florida Sport Clubs Program is dedicated to the mission of enriching the educational experience by providing safe opportunities to students for engagement in a variety of physical, sport activities across a broad range of skill levels and experiences.  This includes activities that are competitive, recreational, and instructional in nature.

Further, the USF Sport Clubs Program is a training ground for leadership, organizational development, and teaching.  The Campus Recreation Department supports the Sport Clubs Program by providing priority use of Campus Recreation facilities and services to Sport Clubs Council members.  Ultimately, the mission is realized through a program that provides diverse sport activities while also affording the students opportunities to develop skills that will assist them beyond their years spent at USF.
