Sport Clubs Council (SCC)
The Sport Clubs Council (SCC) is the governing body of the Sport Clubs Program. The council works with the Sport Clubs Coordinator in shaping the future of the Sport Clubs Program. Specifically, the SCC is involved with disciplinary actions, the addition and removal of clubs from the program, representing the membership to Student Government (SG) and other bodies, and in hearing budget requests and deciding allocations. Clubs removed from the SCC will be deactivated through the Center for Student Involvement and will not be able to seek funding directly from SG.
SCC Executive Board: The SCC elects officers every spring semester prior to May 1 to serve for the following academic year. The officers of the SCC shall be a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Marketing/Event Management Director.
Club Representatives: At least one representative from each member club is required to attend every regularly scheduled SCC meeting. It is not required, but it is preferred, that the representative be an officer from the member club. In order for the representative to have voting privileges, the club representative must be a USF student.
