Workshops & Outreach
The Counseling Center's Workshops and Outreach Services program sponsors a
Student Success workshop series
consisting of psycho-educational programs and theme-focused
groups in a variety of personal growth, life/career planning, and academic
skills areas which are designed to address the needs of the University
community. Programs are designed to disseminate information, enhance skills,
and promote personal effectiveness.
The Counseling Center promotes "wellness" - a
positive approach to living in which you seek to
achieve optimum levels of emotional and physical
health, and healthy interpersonal relationships.
"Personal wellness" is associated with an increased
capacity for academic success as well as long-term
career and life satisfaction.
