If you receive benefits under Chapter 30 or 1606, you must certify your enrollment status to the VA each month. You will NOT be paid until the VA receives your self-certification.

You may self-certify in two ways - by Internet or by using a touch-tone telephone. You may only self-certify using the telephone if your enrollment status has not changed since your last self-certification.

To certify using the Internet, go to the VA's WAVE (Web Automated Verification of Enrollment) web site and follow the instructions given. To certify using a touch-tone telephone, call 1-877-823-2378 and follow the instructions.

If you are receiving benefits under Chapter 30, 1606 or 1607, have your checks directly deposited in your checking or savings account - it will save time. Call 1-877-838-2778 to set up direct deposit.
