EVENT INFORMATION

General Information

Join us for an exciting event! The 2013 Earth Day Tampa Bay is being organized by the University of South Florida's Patel College of Global Sustainability, Office of Sustainability and the Tampa Bay Sierra Club. This year's theme, Fresh Food Revolution promotes local food growers, producers, distributors, educators, and supporters. The event will take place from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 20 at the USF Botanical Gardens. Admission and parking are FREE, but we encourage the use of alternative transportation.

The year 2013 will mark the 43rd Earth Day Tampa Bay celebration. This year's festival will feature exhibitors, an interactive drum circle, vendors, a farmers market, demonstrations, children's activities, community groups, and food—all aimed to help Tampa Bay's residents create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Businesses will demonstrate new products that will focus on ways to "go green," and nonprofit organizations will be on site to provide helpful information. This annual event typically attracts several thousands of participants.
