USF is excited to host the second annual "Accessi-BULL: Showcasing Abilities!" Join SDS and deaf performer Terry Galloway. The event is from 10 AM to 7 PM on Monday, October 26 in MSC 2708 & 2709. Terry performs from 6-7 PM.This event is free and open to everyone. See below link for more information.

DEO Open House: Monday, November 2, 2-4pm ADM Preview Room
Learn about DEO, Diversity Initiatives University-wide and share with Diversity Scholarship Scholars!
As you may know, the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity recently assume responsibility for the program oversight of several campus-wide Diversity-Related Scholarship programs including the Johnson Scholarship (for students with disabilities) and the Latino Scholarship (open to all students with preference given to students who have contributed to the Latino community). While the fundraising responsibility of these scholarships remains at the USF Foundation, our mission is to continue to provide the scholarship recipients the encouragement, support and mentoring they need to succeed here at USF.
We would like to invite you to join us at our upcoming Open House which will take place Monday, November 2, 2-4pm, ADM Preview Room. We would like to provide our scholars with the opportunity to learn more about DEO and the services we provide, student organizations on campus, diversity programs, scholarship, resources and initiatives campus-wide.

The Next Diversity Network Meeting is December 17, 2009
8:30 am - 10:00 am in the The Alumni Center Board Room
The purpose of the Diversity Network is to strengthen the diversity infrastructure that facilitates meeting USF’s strategic goals related to diversity and equal opportunity, and provide technical assistance to support University professionals engaged in diversity and equal opportunity initiatives.

Diversity and Mentoring Presentation
This PowerPoint presentation captures the theme of this year’s Diversity Summit “Mentoring and Diversity: Building a Community of Excellence” through its highlight of the various USF Mentoring Programs showcased during our summit. It also includes best practices and recommendations received from our participants during the summit.
Often our very best efforts are also our ‘best kept secrets’... If your college, unit or department is contemplating establishing a mentoring program, I invite you to take a look at these mentoring programs to learn how they are making a difference everyday in the lives of our undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty.
The goal of the Annual Summit Diversity Report will be to summarize our summit each year and share its highlights with our USF community and beyond.
