Title: BAPP Bookstore Advance Purchase Program

You may be eligible for a Bookstore Authorization through the BAPP program if you are:

  • Degree seeking;

  • Enrolled at least half-time in USF hours; and,

  • Authorized financial aid disbursements that exceed your student account charges by $225 or more,

By choosing to use the BAPP process to purchase your textbooks, your are authorizing your BAPP charges to be paid from any funds disbursed to your student account.

You are responsible for all bookstore charges posted to your account. BAPP charges will be paid each term from your student account, provided your total financial aid exceeds the amount of all other charges against your account (such as; tuition and fees, housing, etc.).

If you are eligible for BAPP, the Office of Financial Aid will send you an e-mail notice approximately four weeks prior to the beginning of the term notifying you of your eligibility.

How Do I Use My BAPP?

  1. Go to one of the bookstore locations (Tampa campus, Tampa Health Sciences Center and St. Petersburg campus).*
  2. Go to the textbook sales floor and pick up your books.
  3. Go to the cash register and present your USF ID and your USF ID number (available in OASIS) and inform the cashier you wish to use the BAPP.
  4. Walk out with your books!

*Students attending the Sarasota or Lakeland campuses should check with the bookstores on their campus.

If I didn't see the  e-mail, how do I check to see if I received the BAPP?
