Before your Stafford loan will disburse, you must..
1. Complete the Entrance Interview
- Login to OASIS.
- Select “Financial Aid”.
- Select “My Requirements, Bookstore Authorizations and Deferments”.
- Select the aid year from the drop down menu.
- Under “Unsatisfied Requirements,” select “Online Stafford Loan Entrance Interview” and complete it.
2. Accept/Decline All Loans and Choose a Lender
- Login to OASIS.
- Select “Financial Aid”.
- Select “My Award and Loan Information”.
- Select “Award for Aid Year”.
- Click the “Terms and Conditions” tab if you have not read and agreed to your financial aid terms and conditions.
- You MUST agree to the Terms and Conditions before you can accept, decline or reduce your loans.
- Next, select the Accept Award tab.
- Under “Accept Award” select “Accept, Decline or Undecided”.
- If you want a partial award amount, enter it under “Accept Partial Amount”.
- If you have not selected a lender and you are accepting your loan, select a lender from the drop-down menu.
- If the lender you wish to select is not in the drop-down menu, contact our office to complete a Stafford Lender Preference form.
- Click “Submit Decision”.
3. Complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN)
