Message from the Provost and Executive Vice President:

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am writing to ask you to contribute to the 2011/2012 Faculty & Staff Campaign. As you know USF, like all universities in Florida, is facing some difficult economic challenges today. While you may think that your participation really does not matter, I want you to know that your contribution, however small or large, matters a great deal to those who benefit from your generosity and to those whose academic programs are enriched by it. Each year, many students are awarded scholarships, and their personal stories tell us that the funds from the Campaign were critical to their persisting at, and graduating from, USF. Additionally, the Campaign provides you the opportunity to contribute directly to a cause of your own choosing - providing many departments, programs, and organizations at USF with the financial support necessary to fulfill their mission. Today, we have so much to be proud of at USF and I am sure that you can find a worthy cause, close to your heart, on the list of funds. This year, I am hopeful that the Provost's Office will set a new bar for the rate of participation - so I ask that you please make a contribution however large or small. I thank you, in advance, for your consideration and generous support of this Campaign.
