Career Information - Temporary Positions

Temporary (formerly OPS) positions are temporary, at-will positions and have limited benefits. The length of employment for Temporary positions is determined by the advertising department, not to exceed 2080 hours in a two-year period.
Non-Academic Temporary employees are not eligible for our full range of benefits, including health insurance, but do enjoy many other USF perks:
- Eligible for participation in the Temporary Employee Retirement Plan (TERP), and the Voluntary Retirement Savings (457 and 403b) Plans
- Eligible for many of the discounts and employee perks offered to USF employees by local and national vendors
