Temporary (formerly OPS) employees are an integral part of the USF educational mission. The university employs many types of temporary employees for both academic and non-academic short term functions. Temporary positions are at-will positions and have limited benefits. The length of employment for Temporary positions is determined by the hiring department, not to exceed 2080 hours in a two-year period.

- Medical Resident
- Psychological Intern
- Federal Work Study
- Graduate Assistant
- Resident Assistant
- Student Assistant
