Intended Audience: USF employees whose duties include recruiting, hiring, and preparing position description information for a department or unit.

Program Overview: Careers@USF will cover processes to:

  • Create, update or modify a Position Description and submit for approval
  • Create Request to Recruit (Position Vacancy Announcement) and submit for approval
  • Review applicants, including EOL approval and submit Hiring Proposal

Objectives: After completing this class, employees will be able to recruit, hire, and create and modify position descriptions for a department or unit using the online system Careers@USF.

Pre-Requisite Activities: Before registering for class, the following two online trainings must be completed.

1. Careers@USF Basic

2. Careers@USF Applicant Tutorial
