	Brighthouse Networks Endowed Scholarship Initially established by the Tampa Cable Television Trust, the Brighthouse Networks gift was presented to the IBL to endow minority student scholarships. Qualifications The selection committee will choose recipients on the basis of the academic talent demonstrated by the applicant. The minimum academic criteria are as follows: A cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or higher is required (3.0 is preferred) ACT minimum composite score of 20 or SAT minimum score of 900 Undergraduate, degree seeking student who has completed at least two (2) semesters of satisfactory work at USF Majoring in engineering, math or the natural sciences Please note that once the minimum academic requirements are met, the selection committee will consider other academic and non-academic factors in reaching a final decision. Other factors considered include service to schools and other non-profit institutions, leadership responsibilities, work experience and special contributions (e.g., the arts, community service, volunteer work).
