Join published author Alicia Thompson as she answers your questions about how to get a novel published:
What are agents and editors looking for?
How do you know when your manuscript is ready to send out?
And for the love of Dan Brown, how do you sum up a 300-page novel in a single paragraph to grab an agent's attention?
Alicia Thompson's debut young adult novel, PSYCH MAJOR SYNDROME, was published by Disney Hyperion in August 2009. She has had short stories published in GIRLS' LIFE magazine, and is currently writing a four-book series about young gymnasts with Olympic gymnast Dominique Moceanu, to be published by Disney Hyperion starting in April 2012. She wrote PSYCH MAJOR SYNDROME while working on her senior thesis at New College in Sarasota -- so just because you're still in college, doesn't mean it's too soon to start thinking about taking your writing to the next level!
