Writing Center Staff

Haley Anderson


Haley Anderson is an MA student in English, with a particular interest in Restoration and 18th century literature.  Also, as a student of foreign languages, semi-fluent in Spanish, Haley is interested in the study and teaching of Spanish literature in the original language.  She has been employed in writing centers for the last three years, and very much enjoys working one-on-one with students.


Austin Grace


Austin is currently pursuing a Masters degree in English Lit.  He has taught writing at both the high school and college level and is continually looking for new ideas and approaches.  He loves working one on one with students and the unique challenges that every writing assignment offers.


Bryan Rice


Bryan Rice is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing (poetry) at USF.  His interests are focused primarily on 20th century and contemporary poetry and fiction.  In addition to working at the Writing Center, he teaches freshman composition.  As an undergraduate at Marietta College, he served as a writing tutor at the campus writing center.


Megan McIntyre


Megan McIntyre has been teaching English in one form or another for 5 years. She has nearly finished her work for her M.A. in English Literature and is looking forward to pursuing her Ph.D. in Literature or Rhetoric and Composition. Her critical focus for literature is Post Colonial works, especially African Women's fiction, and modernism. This is her second year as an instructor in the First Year Composition program at USF.


James Ricci


James is in his second year of the English Literature PhD program, with a specific focus in contemporary Literature and Cinema Studies.  He is currently a TA for Culture and Pop Arts as well as President of the English Graduate Student Association. His interests spread throughout all genres of film and storytelling.


Brenda Grau


Brenda Grau is an MA student in the Rhetoric and Composition program at the University of South Florida.
