FSI/SSS
Students are accepted into the Freshman Summer Institute or Student Support Services programs for Summer semesters only. Students enrolled in these programs will attend Orientation on Monday, June 24 - Tuesday, June 25.
Students will be required to register themselves through their Orientation account; however, the fee for Orientation will be billed directly to the OASIS account. Payment is not required at the time of reservation.
Students are required to complete an online pre-orientation advising module as part of the reservation process. Students who select a major of undeclared are encouraged to choose a major in an area of interest for a richer pre-orientation advising experience.
Parent & Family Members
Family members will attend programming on Sunday, June 23 and Monday, June 24. The Office of Orientation has worked with the FSI and SSS programs to a create a two-day experience specifically for you. This program starts with your student's move in on Sunday and concludes with dinner on Monday. Your student will finish their USF Orientation session on Tuesday afternoon.
Orientation is an optional, added experience for parents and family members. Families are encouraged to attend, but if you are unable or choose not to, please look at the resources throughout this site. Family members wishing to attend Orientation should register through the student's Orientation account. The non-refundable fee for the family program is $50, and is required at the time of reservation. Guests may be added to the student's reservation until the day prior to the session.
